For procedures involving injections into the scalp, you will receive a numbing agent to keep you from feeling pain. You may feel a pinch from the needle. Several injections may be given in each treatment.
For IV supplements, a small tube placed in a vein will deliver nutrients into the bloodstream. You may feel a slight sting from the tube being inserted.
Laser therapy uses a non-damaging type of energy, so most people do not feel any discomfort while the light works on the scalp.
All of our non-surgical hair restoration techniques performed in Atlantic County, New Jersey use only local anesthetics, and some do not require any pain relief.
Most of these procedures have no downtime. Injections might irritate the injection site or cause some soreness, but this should not cause serious discomfort. You can usually go back to normal activities that day.
